The art of Jennifer Hanley (me!)
Here is some of my work. If anyone is interested in purchasing any of these pieces, or you simply have questions about them, please let me know via comment (I haven't yet put an email link on my page). Also, I always appreciate input on my work.

This image is actually painted on the front of a canvas bag that I used for carrying around my school/art supplies. The bag is pretty banged up, but to me that adds character!
I'm inspired by many different movements and types of art. This is the product of me branching out to abstract landscapes. The gold portion was painted with shimmery gold and bronze acrylics so it really looks awesome in person when the light hits it.

Matthew Mead

I found Matthew Mead's site through decor8 and I love it! The site is full of gorgeous images and Matthew is quite generous in sharing his ideas and projects with everyone. He has offered templates for all of the projects that he presents for free including these plates (see above image). There is definately a lot of eye candy to browse through!

oooo...look what I found
Okay, I admit it, I'm a francophile! I have not yet been to France, but it is in the works! For now I shall have to live vicariously through others.
I love finding fabulous new blogs! I found these two and thought I would share:

Jann of Traveling Food Lady features beautiful images and delicious looking recipes. There are plenty of "don't you wish you were here?" picture taken in France.
Another blog by Jann called The French Link is brimming with luxurious images of everything French! It gives me the overwhelming urge to drop everything and take the next flight to Paris.
Enjoy!

New Inspiration
Okay! So here is my first official post. I still am not done with the layout. It's still a template from Blogger. But I will be creating a new layout soon. One step at a time I suppose.
I am inspired to create by so many things. Here are some images that get my creative juices flowing:

I tear pictures out of magazines all the time (I have a huge magazine addiction). I believe this is a Country Living image. Isn't it gorgeous?

This is a collage that I did in high school. I absolutely love taking pictures and objects from all over and getting them to fit together in a way that is aesthetically pleasing.

This is an image that I found in a magazine when I was probably fourteen years old. I absolutely love it!
