I'm off!

Alright people, I'm leaving for Italy so for the next month I won't be blogging here. But I will be blogging for my school, RSU here. So check it out.

One week!

Well, as you may have guessed, finals are over! Thank god! I managed to do quite well this semester with four A's and one B. But, as of late I have been getting everything together for my trip overseas. Italy is calling my name people! She beckons to me and I have only a week left before I board a plane and head across the Atlantic.


Can I just say, holy crap! There is a lot of stuff to do before hand though! I've got my packing list together and I purchased my power converter. Hopefully it will work and it won't crap out on me in some horrible way. I've realized that I can NOT take my ceramic flat iron with me and I must resort to only a curling iron and a very small hairdryer. Not that my main concern is going to be my hair while I'm over there but I don't want it to look like crap. Maybe the Italian weather will do something fantastic for my hair and all I'll have to do is roll out of bed and it will look fabulous! And all the Italian men will be like "ché bella donna!" Yeah right. I bet it's going to be a frizztastic mess. Oh well, I'm take headband and hairbands and a hat or two.

And, in related news, I'm going to be doing a Italy blog for my school (RSU). I'll be putting up pictures and typing a little something several times a week. It would be nice if it was daily but we'll see. You can find that blog here. I'll do another post about it before I leave so you all won't be like..."hey where's the Jenn?" Wait...do ya'll even know my real name? Well, now ya do. Hi, I'm Jennifer, pleased to meet you. Thank you and you're welcome and all that jazz.

Everything is right again...

It's okay people...I finished rewriting the paper. I think the second one was actually better. And I'm still alive. Barely. I just wanted ya'll to know I hadn't died a research paper related death. You can all breath a sigh of relief. I know I am. I will post more after I have finished the rest of my finals...

A Cosmic Clusterfuck

Internet, today the Universe has decided it's my turn to get shit on! I have been working on a paper all day and had finished 9 whole pages (the page minumum is 10) so I was almost there....then I pressed the "save" button in Word. A window popped up that I didn't pay close enough attention to but only gave me the option to press "okay" and then WHOOSH!!! It completely disappeared from my screen and my USB drive. And I only had three pages of it in hard copy. And no other versions saved anywhere else. Are you happy Microsoft Word? If you will, imagine the biggest frown faced emoticon ever and that is what I feel like. :(

I just went down to Sonic and picked up a huge fucking Coke because now I need caffeine to keep me up all night so I can rewrite this paper which is due tomorrow.
